The selection of high-quality rice and storage methods that guard against deterioration
The rice cultivated by association members is collected responsibly by Shirokuma Co., Ltd. and taken directly to the inspection site.
At the inspection site, a well-experienced inspector affiliated with the Niigata Prefecture Agricultural Product Inspection Association conducts a grade inspection. Following this, even more rigorous quality and flavor checks are conducted using analysis equipment such as shell grain discriminators and palatability meters.
Only rice that passed all of these quality checks are classified by varietal grade. The rice is then stored in warehouses with superior temperature regulation.
We polish our rice after receiving an order and then deliver it to the customer.
